Just need to vent

definitely call the exchange program. this is supposed to be a good experience for everyone involved, and the family should not be treated this way.
 
just to add - it's not like this kid is a foster child that they've adopted or otherwise committed to - they're doing this brat a favor by letting him visit and experience a different culture. it's not like he's going to be living on the street or something if they arrange for him to leave. his vacation just ends a little earlier than expected.
 
I only know one acceptable substitute for respect.....FEAR!! I prefer the former but the latter will do in a pinch.
In time and with enough weight of the real world bearing down on him he will see the error of his way, or fail miserably in the aspects of his life that really matter. Either way he will eventually get what he deserves.
 
I know. He's an idiot. They've called his parents, punished him, etc. but he's so spoiled that he's still the same. It makes me wonder how he got that bad.
 
And what's weird is they WON'T send him back... I know my parents would beat him and send him back...
