sweet rays. I love the ornate bichir as well. I have a female ornate that is probably onne of my favorite fish I have.

By far my female is the nicest bichir I ever owned so far.

Very nice looking fish! Is there a reason they are in a bare-bottom tank?

For us, we do bare bottom on this tank because it requires less maintenance. Feed once a day, siphon out left over food and top the tank off. About 20gals of water everyday water change.

This sp. can reach up to 24''. I plan on them to get bigger then that.
