Yes it is venomous.. they get up to a foot. He's around 5.5" right now and he eats 2 feeder rosies per night (fat and about 1" long).. he's a pig.. I'll post some better pics tonight.
I don't mean to thread jack but I have a few questions.
Are you slowly raising the SG because the store was keeping him in FW?
I just bought one of these buggers today. He has a fungus infection, which they are prone to when kept in FW. So I am working on healing that.
He is currently in a FW(1.002) tank and I intend to raise it slowly as well. Probably .001 a day? How is your toadfish doing? Mine is eating great and active, just need to heal that fungus.
