ohhh it sure is beautiful! hmm might have to look into that one a little more, i could survive if the shrimp got eaten (tho i'd be upset) but if the neon goby was eaten that would be very bad...
really anything bright and colorful and not too much yellow. and a swimmer. and doesn't eat small fish, inverts, corals or clams. and will fit my 75g. much harder to find then it seems
salty i feel your pain. only if they had smaller blue hippo/power tangs =(
i was going for anthias first, but they need atleast 6 months to mature, i couldnt wait. so i end up going for different kinds of wrasses instead. it adds colors, many personality with alot of swimming
Wrasses are a hard bunch to mix and get a peaceful group though. I like wrasses because of the huge variety.. but they seem to lean a little more towards the aggressive side than I care for. Not all, but enough of the nice ones where you can't mix 4-5 really different colorful ones without fighting.
Anthias.. learned by watching my neighbor.. need a 125G tank minimum. I wouldn't have thought that by looking at the fish.. but seeing it dead within a month and never appearing happy in a 75G was proof enough for me that what it says online about tank size is the truth.
I was reading the post and two small angels in one tank can be done?
I have my 135 cycled now and wanted to add two angels, one flame and one coral beauty. Going to do it in about 6 months. Everything I read says no.
This Hobby is absolutley fascinating with all the new advances. I used to keep saltwater in the 70's.
Can you actually keep these in my tank. I have 200lbs of live rock with plenty of places to hide. I guess I will get my son to show me how to host some pics.
I am taking my sweet time before I add anything.
I may even convert my wife to the hobby. She loves the live rock and discovering something new in the tank.
I almost bought a Midas blenny this week, but after doing some reading it sounded like it would be beating up on my firefish, which was no good so I skipped it. I got a scissortail dartfish though, which I think is a very cool fish. You said your royal gramma was beating up on your firefish? I'll have to keep an eye out because I have a RG in QT right now.
