I started with one 29gal. It was my boyfriends and he neglected it. He had an extra 29gal and a 55gal in the basement already. Then we started picking tanks up off the curb and taking abused ones in from friends, and Craigslist as well (Love that site!!) and now we have about 10 different tanks kicking around ranging from 1gal - 55 gal :rolleyes: but only 3 are running. (For now :p:)
 
I think as long as my house doesn't start looking like an LFS I'll be OK... no wait... Is there a 12 step program out there for poor souls like us?

I currently have 8 tanks running (ranging from 5G to a 70G) and a grow-out tote (~40G). I'll be removing 2 tanks in the future as I have bought the 70G.

I'm not looking into buying any more tanks. Instead, I am looking into buying more and more upgrades for the tanks that I have, such as lighting, filters, etc.
 
I admit I'm addicted, I have 4 tanks and each new tank is bigger. the next will be over 100 gallons maybe 150 :)
 
Im totally addicted and I blame this website mostly...LOL!

If I had just listened to the local lfs I would have failed miserably at fishkeeping and been done with it by now...heck Id be asleep right now.
 
Your'e not in any danger until you're house requires steel I-beam construction to support you're habit....I mean tanks!

Wow i didn't know that there were so many out there with MTS!! lol. yeah a few years ago, i started with a bowl, then i moved on to a bigger bowl then to a 10 gallon tank, back to a 1 gallon tank, then to a 2.5 gallon tank.. let's just say i've gone through, 2 10 gallon tanks, 2 2.5 gallon tanks, 2 5 gallon tanks, 1 30 gallon tank and a 55 gallon tank.. and if i could have it my way i would have had a 120 gallon tank already.. but no more room at my house.. all thanks to craigslist. haha.
