Just started a 1 gallon nano

I suspect that the plastic used for that tank will not stand up to long term exposure to that light. Watch for crazing, replace at the first sign...
 
i have that exact same tank but i just had a betta in it.
i agree by the time that you have all of the LR and corals in there, there's not ging to be much room for a cleaner shrimp, hermits aren't a bad choice.
you get one of the more attractinve kinds, and he'll start becoming more of a pet, you can call him Sluggo, you'll get to take him to the vet, get little hermit treats for him.....
sorry this kind of stuff has been weraing on my mind for a while now:D

oh soo kinda like anything under 10G is considered pico and 10-55G is nano?

naw i would say 10-30 is nano IMO there's not really a textbook definition for it it's just kinda what it's called

he just got a toupe and is imagining he's a rock star 'serenading' his girlfriend:D
