I got word that a friend of mine died today. I knew he was diagnosed with Cancer a few months ago but he was doing well. I got an email today with his name in the RE line. I expected to read he was doing well and in good spirits so I was blown away to read he had passed.
This is a man that I had only met maybe a dozen times but he makes an immediate impact and I consider him a good friend despite the short time I had known him. He was one of those magnanimous souls that you can't help but like. At any rate the world's a little worse off for the loss. I've shared a few beers in different cities across this big country with this guy - so I raise one last glass. To Claude.
