Juvenile Angelfishes

Get New Life Spectrum All-Purpose and you won't need to feed anything else (at least to the angels). It is sinking so if you have gravel you will need to bowl feed. That means putting a sinking, wide shallow bowl in the tank and use an undergravel filter riser tube to put the food right in the bowl. This is the best food hands down. My angels loved it and came swimming over ot the tube as soon as it hit the tank. It will allow for the best colors and growth. I only had mine a couple weeks before I gave them to my cousin so I could do African cichlids in that tank, but I already noticed a difference in size.

Why is your water that acidic? What is it when it comes out of the tap? Are you on city or well water? How often do you do water changes? I don't use carbon because if you keep up with water changes you don't need it. It will do more harm than good by removing trace elements that the fish need. I use hang on back filtration and canisters, the fish will appreciate the extra room that right now is being taken up by the internal filter. I have found that Fluvals are the best canister (besides Eheim, which is about double the price of Fluval and unnecessary since Fluval has gotten the job done for me for almost a decade now).
