I drilled a hole into the filter intake.

Thanks, Yeah, I 've tried 10's before and lost interest. The 3 I have set up now ARE pretty cool

OK , change it had to come. I finally got my cories layin eggs again and have a bunch of wigglers and eggs in this tank now. The tank finally has a purpose as a cory growout tank
