Katrina (Here we go again)

We really lucked out here in South FL this time. Katrina was pretty whimpy when she hit here. Boy do I feel for the people in her path now that she's a Cat. 5.

i agree i just got an email from my great uncle who lives in fl. they said it was wimpy as well ..lots of preperation with little reason ,,but i agree hopefully katerina will take it easy on everyone else as well.

I don't know, where I live is pretty calm as far as threatening weather is concerned. It does get hot, and very dry here. Winters typicly do get cold but usually not much in the way of snow unless you live up in the hills.

Lots of fresh fruit to be had in the summer. yakima valley is quite a source for such. Walla Walla sweet onions are just as good as the vidallia onions some may be more familiar with.
