For my potassium suppliment I'm using NO-SALT, KCl. I mix with a little tank water to dissolve and slowly add to the tank. It makes the water a little cloudy which clears up in a couple days just in time for me to dose again. Is anyone else using this product with the same result? The plants are doing well but I'm not enjoying the side-effects. Thoughts?

You could try making a gallon of the mix and let it sit for a while. See if it clears up. Maybe try making a mix using distilled water and testing that for cloudiness. I've never used KCl so I'm just making some guesses here.

Thanks for the ideas, John. It may not be an issue any more. I'm switching to KNO3 for my nitrate supplement and may wind up with enough K out of that. I'll experiment with that and see how it goes. The 125g I posted pics of last month is finished and stocked. I added r. indica, red lud. (repens?) and some red telanthera. Among the fish, I've stocked a pair of rams that have already spawned! It also houses four discus, 16 neon tetras, 10 pygmaeus cories, 10 o-cats and a betta. I want to put some Amano shrimp in it but can't afford $4.00 ea. plus shipping. Still looking for a local supply. I'll post some new pics when I can take some more. Thanks again for the help.
