Keeping breeding bettas together permanently...

its been done before by I..... yes you can keep them together with few certain males.. some males just forget it.
 
I'm sure you could, but it would have to be a fairly large tank with lots of plants and such.


I've actually heard of females being the aggressor during mating. Apparently the males fins can get torn to shreds. Not sure how true that is though...


I've seen that as well- mostly from the domiant females

I also have seen that in a girl plakat before beating up the male one.
 
I have a trio of bettas in my 55 gal moderately planted tank with 2 pieces or driftwood that has caves and have never had any problem with them.
 
I'm sure a 5 gallon is basically too small to keep the female in... any other opinions on keeping the male with the fry?
