keeping killifish with pygmy sunfish?

What is best for them by most definitions is a species tank. I am putting them with some L. ommata (which are killies from NA) but they max out around 1" as well...I was warned that may cut back on any fry but speaking with some people that have mixed the two I am told it can still work.

darn! then ill probably set a tank up for them seperately.is there some other fish that would do good with killifish? maybe some other kind of sunfish or other native fish.
