OK, I bought this really nice piece of LR and it had some caulerpa growing on it. So I bought me a new light since the one I had wasn't all that powerful for growing. I bought a 48" SMARTLITE, 65w. My macroalgea is growing really nice, but I'm seeing some brown spots on it. What is there to put in the water to help it out some? Any type of plant vitamins? I can't afford to buy a $300-500 light so I need something else. My caulerpa is at the top half of the LR so its closer to the light it needs.
I also am looking for a book which can describe all my little creatures. I not sure which ones I've got are all that necessary to have. When I bought this piece of LR it had a lot of stuff, snails, stars etc.. I really want a book with not only fish but inverts, etc..
