Kents Liquid Calcium dosing?

Hi, I have a bunch of mystery snails in a mixed community tank. They are having some shell issues. I have used cuttle fish bone in the past and do feed a mixed diet. Anyway, today I purchased Kents Liquid Calcium. I think I need to dose at half the recommendation on the bottle but am unsure of how often to dose. Advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I dose at the recommended marine rate about every two or three days. Seems to be about right for my snails. Remember that the more snails you have, the more calcium you will need. At 2.5 gal/snail, I would use the bottle dosage. Less than that, say 2 gal/snail, you'll need a little more than recommended.

Add crushed coral to keep your pH high and steady. You can mix it in your substrate or put it in a mesh type bag and put it in your filter.

A high pH and calcium drops should keep their shells nice and strong.
