ok, no offence to the snail lovers here, but I don't want them in my tank.
My favorite fish store just got in the plants I've been waiting 6 months to get. But... they now have trumpet snails in the tank! My only other option to get those plants is to go to the next nearest city and pay thrice the price for half dead plants
So trumpet snails dig in the gravel and from what I've heard they lay their eggs there too. I would keep the plants in quarenteen before adding them to my tank.
What can I add to the water to kill the snails that won't harm the plant or it's roots? (or at least not harm it too much)..
