Do they all kinda look the same? IE pink and grey?

Just seen something stick it's head out of one of the rocks and it didn't look nice. No pink on it and it looked more brownish grey than just grey. It had a **** ugly head with what looked like 4 or so tentacle like bits.
Trying hard to get a pic.

Very hard to get a decent pic of it mate. Shoots back into it's hole like lightning. Will keep trying tho.

Thinking it might be some sort of Medusa Worm...But defo need an ID.

Look up a eunicid worm. Bad worm to be sure. They either have 4 or 5 antanee on the front of their head ( I can't remember the # for sure) Do a google search. If I am right, you need to get him out of your tank.

Thanks. Will do a search. Any tips on how to remove it? It only comes out of it's hole a little then shoots straight back in. Would like to remove it without harming anything else growing on that piece of rock. IE my mushrooms.

yea looks like a eunicid...=bad bad bad...kill it kill it!

If you can isolate the rock the worm lives in, you can pour soda water in a hole in the rock. The eunicid should come flying out. Good luck with it and don't get bit.
