I hope all is well !

Just wanted to request you all to kindly help me identify this catfish of mine. Also kindly let me know the details like what max size it will reach and its behaviour. Is it safe to keep these guys with frontosas and brichardis ?

it's definitely a syno; not sure which one - planet catfish is a good research site for all catfish. :grinyes:

not sure but if you look up synos there should be loads of info out there about them

Yes they are Ideal for african tanks!! Looks like synodontis eupterus to me also

Definitely not synodontis eupterus. Maybe synodontis longirostris or even synodontis decorus?

lol i ran a google image seach some of them do look very similar to each other, may be worth your doing that as u know your fish and can pic out variations that match your fish. Im not that clued up on synos but my suggestion looked similar in colouration to yours, but some do seem to have a taller dorsal and some other differences that may assist you. Let us know the verdict tho please
