Kindly ID this Unusual Pleco for me

Hi Friends !

Hope all is well and great !

Just wanted to request for an ID on this pleco that I recently bought. It has very very long fins and unusual colors.

Please guide me on the name, max size and requirements of this fish.

Also please guide me if its a strict herbivore or an Omnivore. I'm asking this because I've kept him with my Calabaricus and I read that sometimes plecos develop a taste for the slime coat of these fish and it can be fatal to the calabaricus. I want to know if I can keep him in there with them or should I remove him from the tank, as its mainly a Calabaricus tank...

Please guide me friends - will be very grateful...

Long fin Calico Pleco?

Look at my Avie and album, I have Regular finned Calico Plecos.

EDIT: Long Fin Calico Bristlenose Pleco.

Thanks a lot for the kind replies and for id'ing the fish - i guess it is a Long-Fin Calico Bristle Nose Pleco then... any ideas on how large he will grow and if he is a strict herbivore ? I'm really worried that he may scrape and eat the slime coat of my calabaricus... Please guide me if I should put him in another tank ( the frontosa tank may be ?) or can i leave him in there...
 
He will only get to about 5" long. 6" Max. You should feed him a mix of blanched veggies like Cucumber, squash, or zucchini, and Algae Wafers.
 
Keep an eye out but calico bns generally arent slime coat suckers. I might also watch out to makesure your ropefish doesnt make a snack out of the BN.
 
Ancistrus are not strict herbivores, But they do not make a habit of sucking fish, either. I have heard far more reports of ottocinclus affinus sucking slime coats (when starving, they can, but it is very rare). I see you have wood in your tank, make sure you keep it; wood is an important part of their diet. If attacked, a bn will defend itself. It won't actually hurt another fish as long as the other guy backs down. They are wonderfull fish for aquariums, due to their size, adaptable diet, and ability to get along with just about anything.

Just wanted to update that I've removed him from the tank. I really wanted to keep him in the tank to control the algae and also because he was so beautiful but I really cant risk the harm he 'may' do to my calabaricus. I have spent a LOT on them and I intend to keep them well and if God helps me, to breed them someday...

I still have the pleco but I have put him in another tank... Anyways thanks a lot for all the kind replies and for guiding me...
 
Try a Zucchini treat, cut a slice and wrap it in a wet paper towel and zap in in a micro for under a min. Done!
