Kissing gourami

My big kissing gourami doesn't like brine shrimp and never has. he/she eats algae wafers and flake but the smaller one likes brine shrimp, algae wafers and flake. Why wouldn't the bigger one like it??

Well, my big sister loves olives, but I think they are nasty...Tastes vary. Pretty normal. I'd encourage you to give the gouramies more veggies than meaty foods anyway---better for them.

Kissers are generally built for algae. That is why they "kiss" the glass walls of the tank. They are scrapping algae off. So if it likes algae then I say feed it some algae waffers.
