I like these and would like to have 1 male and 1 female in my 18 gallon (see sig) would they do well? Any better sugestions? I would like to breed them but just having them will be nice enough. Also if i get them in my 18 gallon would there be enough room for a few platys?

How about a few Cockatoo Dwarf Cichlids instead?

Hi,

you might getaway with a cockatoo cichlid, but your tank is pretty full. Especially with the angel in there. What type are they/ My LFS has some dwarf crested ones.

Move your betta into the 3.6G and you will have room for 1 krib or 2 cockatoo cichlids.
