hi all ,

i have recently purchased a pair of kribs (my favs by far) they live in a 120ltr community tank with 12 neon tetra, 4 guppys , 3 clown loach , 3 pearl danios , 3 zebra danios and a golden algae eater.

I am hoping that my kribs will mate and produce fry but the male just attacks the female or vice versa i was told by my LFS that they are ok to be housed in a community setup but if any one with krib knowledge could give me a few tips.

Thanks in advance for any help given:D

Kribs are often rough towards themselves and other fish when mating. Watch for any extreme aggression or damaged fins/body. If you notcie them 'vibrating' thier bodies at each other then its a good thing and they are courting each other for mating.

120 litres is.... 30 gallons? Something like that? They will be fine with those fish.... but they do become aggressive at mating time and will most likely attack all those fish when they come too close to thier nest.... with exception of maybe the danios. Danios are too fast for them i think.

Just watch them closely and keep tabs on them. Kribs are great :D
