Kryptopterus bicirrhis

now that we are getting closer to being able to stock our nearly cycled tank, son 6 really wants "ghost fish" which I guess are also called glass catfish or Kryptopterus bicirrhis, with a 28 gallon bowfront, and his liking the kuhli loach, what would go with these 2 types, if anything?
 
just to warn you, glass catfish are very delicate and sensitive really need to have clean water, really clean. plus they like groups, otherwise they are shy and you would rarely see them. I am not sure if a 28 would be enough...but I would get more advice than just mine

Chanda ranga are also transparent but I think they are recommened for brackish water.

Ghost shrimp are also sort of like that :)
 
hmmmm I don't think we need delicate and sensitive fish to start out with for him. I like the look of the Chanda Ranga, but, then we have to go brackish, lemon tetra looks pretty good too....what other fish could you put with the lemon tetra? Would the kuhli loach be okay with the lemon tetra?

i have 2 glass cats and they do great with my corys, guppies, and platies they do spend most of their day under the rock cave i made...but do great

The kuhlis will be fine with lemon tetras. Any popular tetra will be fine with kuhli loaches actually.
