KUHLIS KUHLIS KUHLIS!
After searching all over locally, I finally realized I was gonna have to go Aquabid. However, I didn't want to spend 30-40 on shipping... However, I finally found a guy who sells kuhlis and guarantees any kind of shipping! Suh-weeet!
He shipped today, and I'M SO EXCITED! He is in NY, and I'm in PA, so it shouldn't take long.
Check these guys out, they are gonna be so cute!

Wish me luck!!!!!!!!!!

Day 2 of Kuhli stakeout-
Package hasn't arrived yet, although that isn't too surprising, seeing as it was just shipped yesterday. I keep checking the USPS tracker, but it still just says that it was accepted yesterday. :( Until then, my tetras seem to be happy having the tank to themselves. Tomorrow I work till 1, but the mailman stops where my mom works before coming to our house. He knows that if there is a package for me, it's either something alive and moving, or something dead and frozen, so he gives it to my mom for safekeeping. Sooo, I'll call her right after work, and head right down if the package has landed.

Jealous! :)

My kuhlis are not nearly so colorful. They are just plain old brown, and the crazy things never show themselves except at dinner time. I need a few more I think. :) Maybe those perty colored ones this time! If I ever find them locally that is.

Actually, they weren't pricey. They were 18$ on AquaBid, and the guy guarantees regular shipping, which was only around 8$. Not bad!

My kuhlies arrived today!!!:grinyes: They are sooooo cute! Here is a suuuuper short video clip of them, right after putting the bags in the water.

Aren't they cute?
Here are a couple of pictures. They aren't really great, I was rushing and my camera didn't want to focus on them. I'll get better shots later.

I paid for 6 kuhlies, but he sent 7! So, shipping included, it was about 4$ a kuhlie. Not bad!!!!
After acclimating them, I netted them into the tank. Unfortunately, one little flipper managed to flip himself onto the floor. He only dropped a few inches, but I am a little worried. :uhoh: He looked okay, but picked up a little dust under the chair. What a panic!! I'm trying to grab the little wormer, and he just keeps flipping further away. Arrggh!:shakehead:
After netting them into the tank, they promptly disappeared. Lol, typical loaches. My parents dont believe me when I say there are 7 new fish. Hopefully they'll come out more when they settle in. I even put some fozen bloodworms in, and they still wouldn't come out!:grinno:

lol... kuhlis are $4 each at my LFS. I don't even remember how many kulis I have. I think I have 12 that made it through QT. Shows you how often I see them.... it's great when you do see them, though.

very cool!!! i love kuhlis!
