L144 Pair from Pinkertd!

The females sometimes look like they are going to explode before spawning takes place. You keep your tank a little cooler than I do, mine is at 80F, so it'll take a little bit longer for everything in the cooler temp. Do you have the cave in a spot where you can observe their cave activity? If not, best to do that. Have you seen the male cleaning the inside of the cave at all?
I now have 2 caves for him. I have not noticed him doing anything in either. The openings to both are where I can see them. I can raise the temp if I need to. She looks miserable....kind of like I felt at 9 months pregnant!
I will take your word for it and just keep an eye on them. I am pretty excited that she is filling up with eggs.
I'll second that remark. Once they are big enough to ship, I think I would like to buy a few. I'll keep an eye out to see what happens!
(Unless of course someone else reading this has a few for sale in the next month, I guess I should head over to the classifieds now...)
Thanks guys! They stay on the small side, about 4-5". Pinkertd is the only active person on AC that I know breeds them right now.
