hi all,
in an effort to save some costs of a RO/DI unit right now...i noticed that where i work we use laboratory grade water. i'm not sure exactly what it entails...its a milli-Q system...it looks like a fancy RO unit with four chambers...one carbon, two ion exchange, and one organic removal chamber...we call it distilled water at work...but i'm gonna guess it's purified in other ways too.
would this be ok for a fish only marine tank? i could use this water and dechlorinate it and add those fancy buffers and stuff...would it be good enough? i refuse to unneccessarily sacrifice any fishies..i love them...
