lace catfish

my step dad bought a lace catfish about two weeks ago and i really dont know much about them iv read that there active during the day but iv only seen this one out once since he's been in the tank and thats cuz i turnned the light on in the middle of the night. so dose anyone know about there behavior is this normal

Yes, this catfish is mainly a nocturnal catfish. It is very large and is usually kept with other large and aggressive fish like Oscars.

ok thanks hes pretty big right now about 6inches and hes in with semi agressive to non agressive fish
