Especially Telmatochromis Dhonti mean little fish..

Yeah i had 11 of these i had to net the males when i was doing maintenance in the tank because they would attack my hand and they drew blood each time til i netted them mean arse fish..

where did you get them from? and where they relatively active and sociable with each other

I received mine from Feeders supply a local smaller chain store here in my city the dude that sold em to me said he could not move them at the price they had placed on them so he let me have them for 2 bucks a piece and they were like 3 inches and breeding so i could not pass on them but little did i know that they would bite the hand that fed them per say.. Mean mean little fish but yes they are social in their own colony my alpha male was a total boss and his subordinates knew he was boss..
