Hey guys, this little dude is the pittbull of my altolamp tank. He is the one and only F1 brevis fry from my wild caught brevis group. He just appeared one day while my sister was baby sitting a group of my cichlids during our double move/temp housing stint this past summer. I have since giving my brevis, orange fin comps & cyps to a kid at church. I did tell him that I have first right of rufusal on any fry
In any event, I was playing around with the macro setting on the new camera and the brevis liked posing (kinda) in the front of the tank. You can't see it, because I cropped the pics, but I missed the focus. Some obscure area away from the fish got focused on and then the brevis didn't want to pose anymore. They are not perfect, but I thought they were OK to post. I did like the depth of field affect. I am still learning.
Hope you like...
