Or is it with a neo at the front of it?

Anyway, how do you sex these buggers?

Also, anyone keep some? Share your experiences with them.

My father, who got me into the tropical fish hobby, got a pair of occelatus(sp?) and, though I know they aren't the same as the brevis, he shared some really heartbreaking stories.

He had the pair for like a year or more and one day the female died. Before the girl died, though, the male he actually nudged it with its head a few times. When she did finally pass, my pop said that the male lightly covered the dead female with sand, uncovered her a few minutes later, then covered her again. When my dad did remove the dead female, the male voraciously attacked the net and hand with an onslaught my dad said he hadn't seen before, in any fish, or since.

Anyway...

Whats up?

Wow. What a great experience that must have been. Great reading, thanks for sharing. How is the tank doing now?

And Cam191919, I sympathize with your situation; it took me 6 months to find just one, then another 3 after that to find a few more. One of which died, the other night.

*sigh* Anyway.. Have you tried ordering from online?

The tank was a victim in my decrease in tanks (I never had many - about 5 at once was the most - but I'm now down to one). I gave the tank and fish to a fish club buddy a couple of years back. It may have been about 5 to 8 years ago that I wrote that article!

I miss those little guys - they were fun fish to keep. They're the ideal dorm room fish since they do so well in a small tank.
