Does anyone keep these? Do you have any tips and tricks? How should I set up their tank? I have an 18 tall aquarium. Will this work for them? How many should I get? Are they aggressive to snails or shrimp? Will they eat them?
Thanks for any help or links. :1zhelp:

snails might be ok. shrimp will be destroyed. i think a pair would be fine in a 18g, just make sure to give them plenty of shell and rocks

im not sure how many juviniles can go in there but i know that when a pair comes out, in that small of a setup, the others must go, they have a vicious streak a mile wide when they pair off.

Agreed only a proven pair will exist in that setup.. If you want to start out with Juvies get like 5 of them and see who pairs off usually the pair that keep hanging around the same shell will be your pair and remove the rest.. really this will be a species tank so i wouldn't add or keep anything else except the pair..

Texas Holey Rock and shells, usually the escargot or Japanese shells work best as these are bigger shells..
