Hi all

Its week three of the cycle and when i woke up this morning i noticed alot of large/medium air bubbles all over the surface of the water. What could be the cause of this, should i be concerned?

When i first got my LR i noticed a colony of anenomes, which are growing well since i added the MH, i just want to know what i should do with them i.e. split them up or just leave them alone for now?

Cheers
Nick

Bubbles are just on the surface? If you run your finger through the water, do you notice a white skin building up? If yes, aim a powerhead at the surface to break it up--should take care of the bubbles as well.

Determine what kind of anenomes you have--these are likely aiptasia, not ones you want to keep much less encourage. If they ar eby chance a good kind, splitting or moving them = trauma, and you want to avoid that.

No they are not Aiptasia, i was told they are softies but im unable to find a pic. I will get my brothers camera to take a pic.
Yeah i do have a skimmer but is not running at the moment.

Cheers guys
