I know a wet/dry is the best option....but.....

For those fellow hobbyists with large tanks, would 3 AC500s and a Magnum 350 be adequate filtration for a 265 gal tank? (I already have these 4 filters and am trying not to drop a ton of $$ on more filtration).
If I'm correct, that would be a turnover rate of 1850gph or appr. 7x tank volume. Is that sufficient? Or am I way off?....Thanks in advance.

Yes that'd be fine, probably...what do you intend to keep?

It sounds close, but honestly, I think you'd be better off if you bought one more AC500, or an EMP400. The more the better, everyone knows that! :D

The recomended turnover rate is 8-11 times per hour. I would go with sum-x's advice and get one more filter. I like to go over the recomended turnover rate... but thats just me.

Trying to answer that question is impossible unless we know what kind of fish, how many and what sort of water change regimen you'll follow.
