I feel silly, I recently stated all I had were male red claw shrimp since the little ones are always fighting. The "alpha" male now has eggs, uh, they were all the same size when I first got them, is this normal, its opposes what I have red about them.

but, that huge friggin shrimp def is berried! shes is at about 2-3''

She dropped her first clutch of eggs before I could seperate her. I separated her into a grow out tank this time, and I swear she has been there for over a month. Not sure how long it takes for her to hatch her eggs.

There is another female with eggs in the main tank, is it safe to put both in the same tank? I must have gotten stuck with a young male, since he is still really small compared to the females, captivity does strange things:)

I wanted to update this post, my alpha male is absolutely huge now, around 5 inches, most of the original females are not with us anymore, but my male is still kicking, He's about 2 years old now. My camera is broken at the moment, and Im unable to take any pics, but once I get it back, Ill update.
