How do I know how old you are? And no, my MOM taught me that age does not always warrant respect, smarts, or maturity. Even young people have a mind and my mother never treated me or my sister as if we do not.

ding, ding, ding. Put the gloves away. Nobody said that you (or young people) do not have a mind. I know very well that even when I was growing up that I out smarted some adults and as most parents know, children seem to know everything even what they think they know. I am sure that you are a very bright person and what I said about respecting your elders is simply a phrase. I did not mean to offend you so please accept my apologies if I did.

You did not offend me. I just hate when people are condescending toward me due to age, and I get carried away (that happens a lot)
