A 2nd nic spawn went free swimming today,

and yesterday a [air of Madagascans (Ptychochromis sp "tarantsy") put down some eggs.
But because they are in a community, figured it'd be best and remove them for artificial hatching

after removing the most egg covered rock, the other tank inhabitants swooped down and gobbled up the remainder of the spawn

Couple more since the last post
Crytoheros myrnae

because other than a few swordtails, they are alone in a 75 gal, just left the parents and fry together

and a Cryptoheros sp Honderan Red Point spawn around the same time

they spawned ina 1.5" PVC utube, but the 45 gal tank is pretty busy with 5 oher red points, so as soon as the were free swimming, the tube of fry was poured into a breeder box

Also had 3 Etroplus suratensus spawns since May, but each time eggs were eaten before hatch
