i have 2 incandesant sharks that just lay there then all of a suden they jolt around then lay down again is that normal

Irredescents tend to do this as well if they don't have really good hiding places. They are a very skittish fish.. additionally irredescents are one of the fish that shouldn't be sold IMO they get massively huge and their skittish behavior usually results in busted tanks and broken noses. Seldom do you ever see an irridescent over 15 inches that doesn't have his nose destroyed. and 15" is no where near full grown for these guys.

that is very true. ive owned 2, the ones ive had tended to scare themselfs more than anything. they are a schooling fish, if you have the room to keep 3 or more they are more likely to not have a busted nose. also the ones ive had tended to grow really slow.

Last Night I Came Home From Dinner And He Was Dead I Think He Hit The Glass Becouse His Nose Was Really Messed Up I Only Had Him For 3 Days Too
