lead and snails

hi, would lead to weight down plants have any affect on snials? apples and ramshurns???????

It's generally not a good idea to introduce lead to an aquarium, since it is poisonous. Any fish that could eat it would die immediately, and just being in the water is not so great anyway. I'd use rocks instead.
