Hi All,

Recently decided to revamp a 60-gallon tank. Splurged on a HUGE bunch of Java Fern, and for the first time ever in 54 years of keeping fish, I superglued plants to some bogwood. Fingers, eyes, legs, and toes crossed it takes off.

I received my first fish tank for my eleventh birthday on March 11th 1968, you do the math and that will show you my age. Happily retired now and looking forward to having wet hands for many years to come.

Oh and if anyone has any Crypts for sale please consider dropping me a line.

I want to live forever, so far so good!

Welcome to AC!

I also have Java Fern in my Fish aquarium. I have just bought this aquarium for keeping my favourite fish in it. I am facing a problem with the selection of food given to them. I don't know what is suitable for them. Anyone else for some others? Kindly suggest to me here.

This old man (March of 1948) welcomes another youngster to the site. I suggest you "Make a new plan, Stan," because death is natures way of telling us to slow down. ?

Are you asking about feeding the ferN. If so you may not need anything. Fish will make a lot of what the plant needs and the odds are decent that the rest will come in from the tap. I am a fan of the Tropica ferts, have a look here

In fact, look all over the site as it is an excellent resource.

I'll say welcome back Stevie! You've been here a long time. I'm also in your age group ;) I never feed java ferns, they just grow without any help. They seem to like harder water sometimes but are not fussy in any way.

If you're anywhere near the Buffalo NY area, I could give you gobs of crypts for free.
