Ive' got about 15 eastern gambusia in a 30 gallon above ground pond.

The pond is now starting to freeze over with ice and the water temp is in the mid 40s at max.

Should l leave them in the pond or move them to my 10 gallon tank inside?

Thanks

My guess if they haven't died yet and granted it doesn't get any colder. You might be able to keep them in the pond for the winter.

According to fishbase.org They are found in NJ, which get pretty darn cold in the winter. And they are usually released in stagnat waters, which freezes.

HTH!!
