Lego in a fish tank?

Do you think using Lego in an aquarium would be super tacky?

if you build your lego structure upside down in a tank of clean water, when you are done with it, most of the lego will be filled with water instead of air, and they may not float, or at least will be way less boyant. I think if lego is used tastefully, it could be very fun...

one idea is to use the yellow or green 1x2 and 1x4 bricks to make a wall, inserting the 1x2's that have an axel hole in the center, every so often... and then planting moss in the holes to become a moss wall. it could have an irregular edge, looking like a crumbling wall, and you could probably seed some green hairy algae or something across the top to make it look more natural.

I say GO Lego!
 
Thats not a bad idea, I never even thought of using it to build a background also... If I do follow through with this I was thinking of filling the block with sand before interconnecting them to give the structure soem weight then applying a thin coat of aquarium safe silicone to the whole thing to make sure it sticks together. But honestly, with all the little windows and things in the castle I think the fish will love it.
 
I think it would really be tacky for a main display tank in the living room or something. But for a kid's room, playroom or school room, some bright lego structures with bright fish may be kind of neat.
 
Legoland does it...

Lego land had some Lego "Atlantis" sets in a tank in Dallas, it was a small diver & a sea diving vessel. I will try to post a pic.
Thought is was a cool idea & my 7yr old loved it!
