i kinda stick to n-p-k = 10-1-20 rule. but because my nitrates are so high i kinda go by 20-2-40. even though N is much higher. it comes from my tap between 40-80ppm. i have well water and i live next to a farm.
my diy setup is 5 bottles and i change out 2 per week. although not perfect. the amount of co2 isnt off too much. my bubble rate is pretty constant.
