I have had an underwater-jungle for a long time. I had to prune and throw away plants every week. Well about a month ago I added too much Excell and lost most of my vals. Last weekend I gave away a huge Echindorus Bieheri, and this weekend I got rid of my Java fern (it barely fitted in a 5gal bucket).

WOW ..My tanks looks so much "cleaner". I think my fish likes the extra space.

PS..Gave my Java Fern to LFS (no one local wanted such a big plant). It is now at Sunrise tropicals in Daly City if any locals want to see it. It is bigger then most house plants.

i agree i have too many plants in mine as well.my fish can barely see the light of day.good to know yours can move lol

i think often people put too much plants and fish get tied up in the plants. i cut back a lot making more swimming space for my angels and they are spawning now. before i guess they couldnt find each other..... could have always sent the java fern this way.....

BK828--Sorry, was way too big to ship. It barely fitted into a 5gal bucket!!

Tank looks so OPEN. I have about 90 fishes in my tank (including 4 angels) and now it looks empty. But nicer.

Nice..90 FW tetra fishes in a 100 gallon thats gonna be my tank one day lol
