Its odd, he was in his 55 Gallon. and turned almost all white, and would just sit in the corner. the Ammonia went up MAYBE .75. MAYBE. All the other fish are ok and acting normal.

He's done this before, and now I put him in a tub with bottle water, and hes normal, back to his color. I dont get it

curious .75 ammonia?? could be the BP is sensitive to ammonia??

usually a cycled tank will read 0..during cycling it is recommended to keep ammonia below .25 ppm

well this tank was cycled. And when i wasnt home, my GF put algae eater in it to kill off the problem weve been having. And I remember in my old 30 Gal, the ammonia went up for some odd reason, and he did the same thing.

This tank is cycled, over 30 days. But i think the algae eater made if go up the slightest bit.

Adding a high bioload fish could cause an ammonia or nitrite spike. Do you test the water?
