Lets kill some Hair Algae

I got a small glass and filled it with about 2oz of tank water and added 3ml of H202 just to see what kind affect it will have.

I don't think that squirting in on the algae really does anything, I think just being in the water is what actually reacts to the algae?

This image shows just before adding H202. I will show results if anything changes.

Well I been doing some reading on different forums about H202 and using it to get rid of algae. I found that it's pretty much BS and almost a waste of time.

There seems to be mostly all talk about it and no talk of it actually doing something good. I hear that you can over dose easily and kill shrimp and snails and damage the plants. After the many years of people talking about his treatment, there should be a working guideline which no one seems to know. With such little info, it is just as dangerous as any other algae killing product out there.
The only way I can see dosing H202 is if you have something covered in algae and you can remove it from the tank to dose it, that is also if you don't care about damaging what you are trying to rid from algae..
Everyone tells everyone to dose H202 but no one knows the details on dosing..
It's kinda like telling someone with cancer to dose themselves with radiation, but no one knows how much radiation for how long and when it becomes dangerous.

I might have to do just that, but the moss will probably die...

I will post results if I do something and get results.

I added more H202.
This test shows 24 hours later with about 8ml of H202 in 1 1/2oz tank water.
I will dose another 8ml of H202 and check back after 24 hours.
