lets see them desktops 56kkkkk

todays project... my buddy crashed his vista laptop hard... he pays bills on it and such and has no vista disk... sooo... i made the switch with it and there's plans to dual boot his gaming pc in 2 weeks...

i gotta say ubuntu 9.1 runs pretty good on it. there was no need for special drivers and everything seems pretty user friendly so far. i just downloaded the files and made the install disk last night and everything he'll need is installed and tested thoroughly today. i can't complain so far.

i have not bothered to do a desktop I actually do have something but have no idea how to post it

CHEF... what operating system are you using... there's instructions for windows earlier in the thread...

PAINT... click on: start/window symbol... all programs... accessories... paint

Well, if Chef can do it, so can I. (Or so she thought.) Okay, so I can't do it. I get as far as "insert image," which asks for the "url" (whatever that is) of my image. Obviously, I've hit a road block and can go no further.

Go to post reply, then manage attachments. Upload your file, enter somthing into the text box, and hit submit.
