Hard to say. I kept trying to get rid of it and I didn't really know what it even was at first. It was a lot worse before and it has thinned a little, but it seemed to stall a month or two ago. Most people tend to get rid of it within a few months...try a year for me. I've wanted to just nuke the tank and start over, but never got around to it. Now its not worth doing anything...
