lets see your tang tank

I would submit that question to Wetwebmedia.com. They usually get back to you within a day and are generally very knowledgeable. I have recurring problems with BBA in the 75, but I can at least manage to keep it at minimal levels. Have you tried nuking it with algaecide?

ive used algaecides in a few of my tanks. i was trying to kill algae and snails. it didnt kill either.

im having the same issue as you are but my is diatoms. i cant get rid of them. no matter how many water changes it wont stay clean, and they grow back imediatly

heres my new layout for britchardis

This is the best pic I have of fertile eggs. They were opaque in color and hatched after about 48 hours, at which point I couldn't generally locate the babies. At wriggler stage they would become noticeable, looking like tadpoles and clinging to the sides of rocks:

I never plan on using any type of chemical to get rid of algae when there are plants or fish involved.

austin, how long have you had the diatoms and how long has the tank been setup?

Well some good news...I found a juvie multi hovering around my shell pit! I hope there's still more left to enjoy before they go.

thank you afrocichlid , but some bad news the eggs have gone totaly gone i think my sucker loach has sucked them off the stone ;( :( im realy gutted , did the eggs look fertile do you think or not xx

im taking the sucker loaches out today and putting them in my breeding tank ,the breeding tank is a 2ft , we put our best looking endlers in there to breed , now our endlers are ace for breeding justkeep missing them giving birth . how long will it take for her to spawn again and how long does it take for the eggs to hatch thanks

And now some bad news...

Last night I found water all around the base of the tank so I was forced to tear everything down this morning. No cracks or leaks found so at least its still buy-able.

It was going to happen sooner or later, but it sucks that its gone now. I didn't end up finding any more multis either.
