Lettuce sea slug

I am looking at a lettuce sea slug. I'm hesitating, but my son is really pushing. I have plenty of algae and live rock, so I'm sure I can support it.

My biggest concern is whether it will poison my tank if it dies. Everything I've read says no, but I would like to hear from others who own them.

Nope, they are pretty harmless little grazers. Won't nuke tanks, and happily munch most kinds of algaes.
