went to the only glass supplier on the island today to get a sqf price on lexan.Get this...3/8 22.50sqf, 1/4 17.50 sqf,:jaw:well I almost had to run to the toilet.Makes it hard to DIY,seems cheaper to just buy the product I want to make.

What are you trying to make? Lexan is much more expensive than regular plexiglass, not sure how it compares to cell-cast acrylic though.
IM trying to make a DIY calcium reactor.Im also just letting you guys know the prices of this stuff.you guys are sooo lucky that you have easy access to all sorts of goodies.here we have to order everything online.its a drag.A skimmer I just brought in was 300 to buy,200 shipping,then government stung me 33%duty on the 300.Its crazy money if you ask me.I love to doityourself.A calcium reactor would cost a small fortune if I was to bring it in.Our pet stores dont bring anything in for saltwater aquariums.they cater to cats dogs and horses and all freshwater(boring) goods.I guess one good thing about here is,good diving year round and no snow to shovel,lol
